‘San Francisco Post’ is a commission made for a private collector. The collector native SF origin and their warm memories of the city and the landmarks from their child hood styled the organisation of the piece. The panels are stagered to emphasise the patchwork of neighborhoods on the map perspective and the frame representative of the landmarks relating to the placement orientation.

Laser etching is a technique using a laser etching printer and specific wood types to master image resolution. This technique consists of photographs of models and images, digital decomposition, aligning images through the overlay process and ultimately etching the overlay with the laser to produce the final rendered image.
